Tuition & Policies
Piano lessons are an investment. Here’s exactly what you get.
Angela’s studio isn’t a drop-in music class. It’s a structured, personalized program built around each student’s growth. Monthly tuition covers far more than the time you spend at the bench — it covers everything that makes lessons actually work.
Beginner Lessons
30 minutes, twice a week-
The fastest path to real progress. Two shorter sessions per week gives young students the repetition their brains need to build skills quickly. Most beginners thrive with this schedule.
Standard Lessons
45 minutes, once a week-
A strong option for students who need a single weekly commitment. Longer sessions give more time to cover technique, theory, and repertoire in one sitting.
Advanced Lessons
60 minutes, once a week-
For upper-level students working on more complex repertoire who need the extra time to dig in deeply each week.
Home lessons available for students with limited mobility. Tuition varies to include travel time and mileage. Contact Angela for details.

Studio Policies
Payment: Tuition is due at the beginning of each month. A $15 late fee applies for unpaid tuition after the 15th.
Missed Lessons: Please plan to attend every lesson unless your child is sick. Makeups are offered when Angela’s schedule allows. Group piano can serve as a makeup lesson when needed. If Angela ever misses a lesson, she will always make it up.
Snow Days: When students can’t make it to the studio, lessons move online at the same scheduled time.
Group Piano Classes: Group classes are held on the third Sunday of most months, with occasional exceptions in spring due to holidays and events. These classes are a core part of the program. Students who attend group piano consistently make the most progress.
Summer Lessons: Angela encourages students to continue lessons through the summer. Students who take at least four lessons in July and August avoid the setback that comes from a full break. Summer lessons are billed individually rather than monthly.
Fingernails: Short nails are a must. Please clip them once or twice a week so students are always ready to play properly.
Arriving for Lessons: Please arrive five minutes early. Students should remove shoes, wash hands, and have books organized before the lesson begins.
Ending Lessons: Thirty days notice is required for students ending lessons.
Driving: Angela’s studio is on a private road. Please drive 5 mph or slower. Children are playing and don’t always watch for cars. Park in the driveway or the auxiliary parking on the right side.
